PRESERVIT 25S

PRESERVIT 25S is an oil base formulation, which semi-dries to a tacky film. When dry, PRESERVIT 25S has a melting point of approximately 71oC. It protects steel surfaces from corrosion and when applied with a suitable base, collects overspray paint for easy removal, and can resist the water flow over spray booth baffles. It is very useful on floors and metal gratings in down draft booths as well. PRESERVIT 25S can also be used as a rust preventative coating for steel parts in storage. It will provide full protection for 4 years indoors, 2 years outdoors (sheltered) and 1 year outdoors (unsheltered). PRESERVIT 25S can be applied by spray, brush or dip methods. Coverage is approximately 300 sq. ft per gallon depending on the amount of overspray paint expected. It can be easily removed by scraping.
