Vanchem BDB

VANCHEM BDB is a multi-purpose alkaline cleaner that is a slightly viscous liquid designed to provide excellent cleaning properties in a variety of applications even in very hard water. The rinsing capacity is high, thus ensuring deposit and spot-free finished parts. VANCHEM BDB can be used in spray; tumbling or heavy air or pump agitated immersion equipment at concentrations varying between 1.5 to 8% by volume depending on temperature, soil and turbulence. Normal operating temperature is between 135oF and 170oF. It is designed to act as a general cleaner for steel; aluminum or zinc coated materials providing minimum in-plant corrosion protection during short-term storage or further processing. When used on aluminum below 170oF no insoluble silica hydrate is formed thus leaving a deposit-free surface and when used above minimum concentrations, surface attack on most aluminum surfaces is eliminated by the presence of rapidly reacting inhibitors.
